Always read and follow the instructions on the can.

Stir paint thoroughly in the can before commencing paintwork and then regularly during the job. When stirring never use a screwdriver or sharp metal object. It may damage the can or its lining, and won't stir the paint thoroughly. Always use a flat stirrer.

Pay attention to the weather. Paint drying times are calculated based on 25°C and 50% relative humidity. Variation from this will affect paint drying times. In general, don't paint if the temperature is likely to fall below 10°C during application or drying. It is not advisable to paint at temperatures greater than 35°C as paint is likely to dry too quickly and blister.
